Heartland Trail – Orrville to Clinton

Completion of the Heartland Trail from Orrville to Clinton is our current focus. The Heartland Trail has received state and nationwide attention among trail system initiatives. When completed it will connect with the Ohio-to-Erie Trail which spans many trails from the Ohio River in Cincinnati to Lake Erie in Cleveland. And, the recently announced route of the Great American Rail Trail, from the Atlantic coast in Washington, D.C. to the Pacific coast in Washington state, includes the Heartland Trail.
